The Weekend

All this week I spent snippets at a used book store that just recently created a .25 cent section. This is a 1971 book with beautiful illustrations. One day I plan on framing them in some fashion. I bought my mother an antique directory book and a friend some photojournalism books.

I want these little guys.

custom order your own crocheted cat

Custom ordered crocheted cats! How precious?

I have been wearing lipstick everyday. It makes me feel more feminine in a subtle, delicate way. Ernest Hemingway's great-granddaughter Dree Hemingway has an adorable name and pulls off this look so well.

Oh goodness!

Frozen Smiles - Denture Ice Cube Trays
These are so funny to me.

Needle and Pin Storage Booklet
I've been thinking about getting back into sewing lately, and this is just the item to inspire!

As much as I love the clean sleekness of my mac, these removable graphics are tempting.

If it was up to Zach, we'd probably have Koi fish wedding invites. They aren't too shabby.

Ochre and Brown Personalized Leather Keychain
Lastly, I'm excited about this keychain! It's a step towards maturity in my Snapdragon world of monograms and polka dots.

A very shy Zooey Deschanel arrives at LAX Airport wearing similar glasses as fiance Benjamin Gibbard.

How did I go over a year not knowing they were engaged? Ben Gibbard's gotten so skinny. And Zooey looks wonderful in llilic.

My brother and his wife came in town just as I was leaving. Luckily, since I've been home they've stayed a few more days. I just adore their two little mutt puppies- Pebbles and Bam Bam. Pebbles looked too precious with her pink collar and nails. Photo op? Mhm! Can you believe they are from the same litter?

just a day of doing nothing, and it was almost everything I could have wanted.

-managed to never change out of my pajamas.

-watched the Helvetica documentary.

-enjoyed my coffee with a clearer view out the recently de-screened windows.

-made my sister some sweet little moving announcements.

-stalked a precious grey cat.

-considered buying this for days that just need cheering.

Happy kitten

-labeled mini mead notebooks in magazine collages with Ashley.

-read Love That Dog by Sharon Creech.

A blog and twitter all in one week- like I needed another reason to always be online.

This is such a cute pattern for a child's room

And these Olive Manna jot books are so useful to label like shopping, school to do, or brainstorming.

But seriously Olive Manna, this isn't a peacock. You aren't kidding anyone.
